Thanks to Heather, aka Quasimodo, for allowing me to showcase some of her artwork here at Art Raider. The site is beginning to fill out nicely now. I've got some stuff in the videos page (some silly little recordings of my own) as well as nice collection of drawings and colorings from both Melonie and Heather. There's a couple images now occupying the renders page, as well as a couple of images that are proper proportion for wallpapers. I had no idea how much art work Heather had created before I started this page so when I saw how much there was I was shocked!! Mostly due to the fact that previous to this, I was making thumbnail images manually. Fortunately I was able to find a free program which enabled me to rapidly batch produce thumbnails to whatever proportions I wanted. This was a blessing for me as it saves me lots of time opening each file and resizing etc.. Just a couple clicks of the mouse and away I go to coding. One of these days I'll get to know php and mysql properly so that I can implement a proper method to allow users to register and subsequently be able to upload their works without me having to do it myself. But in the mean time, its no major hassle and I can turn stuff out within 24 hours of being notified.

After spending a couple days on working up what I believe to be a good layout for the website, I am happy to announce that Art Raider (the name of my brain child project) is open for submissions. While the content of the website is currently lacking in many areas, I know that it can quickly become populated with excellent art work, videos, photos, and other such digital tomb raider goodness. Any visitors who would like to have their work showcased here at Art Raider are persuaded to check the submissions link for details on contacting me. Remember, this is a fan art website for the fans of tomb raider, by the fans of tombraider. The site will be as good as you want it to be as long as you continue to contribute. Bear in mind when submitting art and videos that I would like to keep this site as family friendly as possible. Thanks to all in advance for your contributions, for without your help - this site would not last long. Special thanks to Melonie for the Lara Croft drawing which I utilized in the fleur de lis logo. Special thanks also to Justin, aka "TLR Online", for developing and maintaining Tomb Raider Forums and Tomb Raider Chronicles. Without his websites, this one may very well have never come to existence. I hope you all enjoy using and contributing to this site. If you have any questions, comments, or would like to report any bugs - please contact me at my TRF profile page. I will mention the fact that I do my coding based upon browsers that fully support CSS properly, which means if you have a browser that does not properly support CSS layout coding (namely internet explorer) I recommend viewing this site in an alternate browser for best results. Mozilla Firefox 3.0 is a great browser to use, and I highly recommend it to anyone who does not have it yet. Here's to a great future at Art Raider.
